Plainfield Public Library is the second largest public library in Union County and winner of 8 prestigious awards, the PPL serves the residential and business community as well as residents of many neighboring communities. The PPL mission is to provide all citizens of Plainfield and it's surrounding communities full and equal access to information resources, technologies, and programs for a lifetime of learning and cultural enrichment, by promoting literacy, preserving the history of the community, and serving as a community center.

We anticipate approximately 300 neighbors, residents, business owners, and friends to participate along with the Friends of Plainfield Public Library and Mr. Plainfield.
