Glen Bressner has been a partner with the Mid-Atlantic Venture Funds since its founding in 1985. The firm presently manages four venture capital partnerships and maintains offices in Bethlehem , Pennsylvania and Reston , Virginia . Upon completing his MBA, he began his career as a venture capitalist when he joined Key Venture Capital Corporation, a small business investment company, and opened its Boston office in 1984.
As Chairman of the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group (now MAC Alliance) in 1996-1997, Glen conceived and organized the first GPVG Venture Institute. He is responsible for MAVF investments in International Quantum Epitaxy (LSE: IQE plc), Innovative Solutions & Support (NASDAQ: ISSC), Access Health (NASDAQ: ACCS, acquired by HBO and Company), Ravisent Technologies (NASDAQ: RVST, formerly Quadrant International), AnyTime Access (acquired by Digital Insight, NASDAQ: DGIN), UltraCision (acquired by Johnson & Johnson), MicroE Systems (acquired by GSI Lumonics, NASDAQ: GSIG) and CareGain (acquired by Fiserv).
Glen holds a BSBA, cum laude, from Boston University and an MBA from Babson College .
