Books 'n' Bagels is a new, bi-montly facilitated discussion of people interested in connectivity, proficiency in their lives and a desire for life-long learning. The Clinton Book Shop, 33 Main St., Clinton hosts the new series facilitated by Paul Marciano, Ph.D., of Flemington. The intention of the series is to give attendees an opportunity to learn about and discuss the latest business concepts and to determine what applicability they may have in building proficiency in their businesses.
The first meeting was a huge success and the next, scheduled for June 17 at 8 a.m. promises to be even better as participants discuss the book, Leading with the Heart: Coach K's Successful Strategies for Basketball, Business and Life by Mike Krzyzewski and published by Warner Business Books. Krzyzewski, better known as Duke University's Coach K, has been said to be the most successful NCAA basketball coach. His leadership skills and the ability to pass them on to his staff and players results in a success story for everyone.
