- A little about the Speaker -
Lisa D. Love. Esq. knows what it takes to be a respected attorney being the third generation of attorneys in her family.Her journey has led her from assisting her grandfather at the ripe age of ten in his Washington, D.C. law practice to working in the corporate finance department of a major, Madison Avenue, New York law firm to being one of the first women to serve as the chief counsel to both the cities of Plainfield, New Jersey and Orange, New Jersey.Currently, Lisa is the managing partner at the boutique law firm of Love and Long, L.L.P. located in Newark, New Jersey that was established by her in 1992.
In her private practice, Lisa concentrates on commercial real estate, banking, corporate finance, municipal, probate law and related litigation. She represents major financial institutions, providing almost twenty years of commercial and business lending services.In addition, she represents municipalities providing condemnation and real estate related legal representation.Lisa also represents profit and non-profit real estate developers providing affordable housing and developing other residential, commercial and mixed use projects.Her practice spans three states - New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania - and the District of Columbia and her distinguished legal career has earned her several awards and commendations from clients and legal organizations.In 2003, the Women?s Fund of New Jersey recognized Ms. Love as an “Outstanding Women In the Field of Real Estate”.

“Behind every successful woman there is an empowering story!”This is so true. The Women Entrepreneurs? Network (WEN) business breakfast series is a new program designed only for women to give them a sacred place and space to hear empowering stories of how other women have succeeded in business. Guest speakers will come and give their biography of how they got started; how they broke the big business ceiling to become the success they are today; what were their keys to success; how they overcame their challenges and how they prepared themselves to seize the moment. Guest speaker are women entrepreneurs who are managing businesses that have generated at least a million dollars ($1,000,000) in sales revenue. By attending these intimate monthly business breakfast meetings, women have an opportunity to meet role models, network with other women of like minds with the same aspirations for success through entrepreneurship.
