John Ason is an angel investor specializing in early stage pre-revenue companies. He has made twelve investments in the areas of e-commerce, 3D technology, internet publishing, smart labels, advertising and entertainment/media. John was at AT&T Bell Labs for over 25 years, first involved in software and technology development, then in marketing and business management of large software projects. He is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is a guest lecturer at the Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson and at the WhartonSchool of the University of Pennsylvania.
Jim Guntonhas served the technology industry for nearly 20 years, initially in Silicon Valley as a rapidly promoted manager at Oracle Corporation, then subsequently in an investment capacity. In 1994, Jim joined Edison Venture Fund and as Vice President and Principal, led its investment activity in New Jersey. Jim is the recipient of many local and national awards, including New Jersey's 2004 "Financier of the Year", njBiz "Top 40 Under 40" business person, and a Board Governor of NASBIC, the private equity's trade industry association. Jim received a BS from StanfordUniversity and an MBA with distinction from the Fuqua School of Business.
A.Wayne Tamarelliis President of AWT Private Investments and an angel investor in early stage technology businesses in the New Jersey and San FranciscoBay areas. He serves on a number of boards of directors and advisory boards. His 39 years experience as a CEO, private company owner, and public company officer have encompassed entrepreneurship, general management, new ventures, mergers and acquisitions, advanced materials, environmental protection technologies, specialty chemicals, energy conservation technologies, technology transfer, angel investing, and other business and technological areas. He has BS, MS, and PhD degrees in engineering from Carnegie-MellonUniversity and an MBA in marketing and international business from New YorkUniversity.
