WHAT: The 1st Annual Regional Procurement Expo, co-sponsored by Rutgers-Camden Small Business Development Center, the Cherry Hill Chamber of Commerce, and the U.S. Small Business Administration, will match government and private industry buyers with potential sellers in the small business community
Expo exhibitors will include purchasing agents and supplier diversity coordinators from corporations, federal prime contractors and local, state and federal government entities. The event will include matchmaking meetings for expo attendees to work one-to-one with buyers to identify purchasing needs.
Expo seminars will provide small-business owners with information on such topics as:
--Applying for a GSA Schedule --Doing Business with Fort Dix
--SAVI as a Marketing Tool --Surety Bonding & SBA Financing
--N.J. Department of Treasury-E Bidding Workshop
--$$ and Sense ? Contracting With the Federal Government”
Individual on-site assistance will be available for completing State Small Business Enterprise (SBE) registration or Women/Minority Business Enterprise (W/MBE) applications. Tips on completing bids and counseling on GSA schedules also will be provided.
