Think it may be time to focus on the Human Resources aspect of your business? Learn the secrets of smart hiring from an HR expert with 20 years of experience. If you are looking to add even one employee to your business, this course can help give you a basic foundation that will help you build a better business.
The workshop will cover some hiring tips including: interviewing tools to help you hire the employees who will make your business grow, the do’s and don’ts of interviewing and red flags to watch out for, how to select the right candidate among several qualified people, and what trends and tools of Internet recruiting and hiring are valuable.
This workshop will also look at the need for consistent policies and procedures right from the start to ensure that your company is focused on the critical people needs that exist in the workplace today from a Human Resources perspective. We’ll briefly touch on the legal aspects of running your business as well as the recordkeeping requirements to assist you in running your business in today’s climate.
This class will be held at Lakewood Municipal Building, 231 Third Street, in Lakewood. There is no fee for this class.
