George M. Taber, the only journalist present at the 1976 Paris Tasting, tells the story of the dramatic blind wine tasting which sent shock waves all around the world. California won!
After spending 21 years at Time magazine, George Taber left in 1988 to start NJBIZ, a weekly business newspaper that covers New Jersey business. He sold the paper in 2005 and now lives on Block Island, Rhode Island.
