Having NJEntrepreneur.com as a web site has given me a great opportunity to meet and listen to the stories of other entrepreneurs. When you are building a business, I think it is akin to being in a battlefield foxhole with so much swirling around you that you have no opportunity to explore. Recently I attended an awards event where Greg Olsen, a New Jersey entrepreneur and recent space voyager, was the key note speaker. Included in his talk were points about how to be a successful entrepreneur. I agreed with all of his points for success, but I was particularly struck by one point: "Survive Your Mistakes". I knew what Greg Olsen was referring to, but I like the term "Outliving Your Mistakes". |
