Sun Mergers & Acquisition, LLC initiated this transaction, acted as exclusive financial advisor, and negotiated the transaction for Wilkerson Transportation Company, Inc.

Wilkerson was a family owned business established by the current owner 20 years ago that provided student bus transportation services including busing to and from public, private and special education schools, field trips, student athletics, and summer camp transportation. It has achieved steady expansion, becoming one of the largest independent student bus transportation companies in New Jersey.     

Wilkerson is Student Transportation's 36 ^th acquisition since 1997 and will add over 50 vehicles and annualized revenues in excess of $3 million. The Company utilized availability under its senior credit facility, recently created with the proceeds of the common share offering completed in June 2009, to fund the acquisition.
