National Mill Industry, Inc.. a wholesale distributor of women's apparel, undergarments and lingerie, recently finalized a $966,665 (25%) participation in a $3.8 million TD Bank loan from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) through the state’s Main Street Business Assistance Program. Through this assistance, the company plans to consolidate its corporate headquarters, main distribution center and warehouse facilities into a new, permanent location in Cranford. This financing is expected to support 20 existing jobs, as well as the creation of 15 new jobs in two years. The Main Street Business Assistance Program assists small and mid-sized businesses and not-for-profit organizations in the state by providing financing support to commercial banks in New Jersey. The goal of the program is to reduce the credit risk for the bank and provide access to capital for the borrower.
